Aug 1 We made it there and
back.
Thanks for praying. What a trip it was with
uncomfortable heat and humidity but also with wonderful
kids and translators. We had a great Adventure camp and
were able to support our new Baptist Church in Drabiv.
The kids are obviously gaining bible knowledge each year
and some accepted the gift of salvation this year (Praise
God). We were also able to get in a little sight seeing
in Kiev and Amsterdam on the way back. It was a time to
reflect and relax after a tightly scheduled week in
Drabiv. The camp will be run by our new pastor in Drabiv,
Pastor Loyna and his wife Sveta.
April 11 Easter Breakfast served by the Ukraine Team April 16,17 Brat Sale at CashWise Foods. Come and eat, we're cookin'. Proceeds go to the Ukraine Team. April 18 Night in Drabiv & UMP(Ukrainian Missions Partner) Banquet and Silent Auction. The Silent Auction starts at 5:30pm and a Ukrainian meal complete with Borscht, Compote, veggies and more will be served at 6pm. We'll also have plenty of fun. May 9 Flower Sale. This is Mother's Day. hint, hint They will be available at Weddings on First Friday May 7 and Saturday May 8. Kids..."Pick-a-bunch" for mom. Potted plants as well as stem plants. In the meantime we'll be preparing our crafts, lessons, and strategy for the most efficient usage of the particular abilities of the members of this team. Pray for us as we prepare ourselves for this missions trip to our NEW sister church in Drabiv. We leave July 22 and arrive back in Willmar August 1. |
